QUINTIN D. SAFFOLD, ESQ.
Co-Founder & Managing Attorney
“I don’t just read contracts; I understand the sweat equity behind them. From the South Side courts to the federal courtroom, my mission is to protect what you create.”
ATTORNEY
STRATEGIST
CREATOR
Quintin D. Saffold isn’t your typical attorney. With a career that bridges the courtroom, the corporate boardroom, the creative studio, and the athletic arena, he brings a rare blend of legal firepower and cultural fluency to Pick VI.
Chicago Roots, Austin Base
Growing up playing basketball on the South Side of Chicago taught Quintin discipline, resilience, and the importance of protecting opportunities. He started his legal career in the trenches as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Cook County, IL—the very place he grew up—where he prosecuted cases and advanced to federal civil litigation defense.
Now based in Austin, TX, Quintin leverages that prosecutor’s mindset to defend athletes. He knows how the other side thinks and uses that insight to build powerful defenses for his clients’ brands and careers.
Expertise
1. The Litigator (Defense)
As a former prosecutor and civil litigator recognized as one of the National Black Lawyers Top 100, Quintin isn’t afraid of a fight. Whether it’s a breach of contract or a workplace dispute, he has the courtroom experience to enforce your rights when negotiation fails.
2. Entertainment & Sports Law
Quintin has successfully represented high-profile clients, including celebrities and entertainers, in structuring deals and protecting creative rights. He understands the dynamic needs of the industry because he lives it—he is also a registered ASCAP songwriter.
3. Business & Employment Strategy
Beyond the game, Quintin is an expert in Labor and Employment law. He helps athletes structure their NIL entities correctly, navigate independent contractor agreements, and align their workforce strategies for long-term growth.

WHY I FIGHT
My dedication is deeply personal. I’ve advocated for victims’ rights, fought for individuals against powerful institutions, and secured justice for the injured. At Pick VI, I bring that same relentless advocacy to athletes. I believe every client deserves to be seen, heard, and powerfully represented—not just as a player, but as a person and a business.”
OFF THE CLOCK
When he isn’t in court or negotiating a deal, you can find Quintin working on music or connecting with the community in Austin. As a creator himself, he understands the journey of building something from nothing.
